Muesli Jars ~ Mum & Toddler

I love nothing more than having breakfast already prepared and ready upon waking, and one that I can eat with my daughter is even better!

Pretty simple muesli cup ~ I'm not inventing anything new but I think the combination is delicious (and so does my 4 year old!)

Save this to your bookmarks, it will soon become a nightly routine!

MUM'S MUESLI JAR INGREDIENTS:

  1. 1/3 cup quick oats
  2. 1/3 cup yoghurt (dairy or coconut - I've just made the switch to Chobani Light as its protein content is higher)
  3. 2.5 tablespoons Vanilla Protein Powder (I use Keep It Cleaner as it's the most basic that I'm happy for my daughter to eat a little of)
  4. 1 tsp chia seeds
  5. 2 tsp hemp seeds
  6. Dash of milk (so the consistency isn't too thick but not too runny).
  7. Fresh or frozen berries on top.

TODDLER MUESLI JAR INGREDIENTS:

  1. 1/4 cup quick oats
  2. 1/4 cup yoghurt (dairy or coconut)
  3. 1/2 - 1 tablespoon Vanilla Protein Powder (I use Keep It Cleaner as it's the most basic that I'm happy for my daughter to eat a little of)
  4. 1/2 tsp chia seeds
  5. 1 tsp hemp seeds
  6. Dash of milk (so the consistency isn't too thick but not too runny)
  7. Fresh or frozen berries on top.

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Add all in the dry ingredients first and give a good mix to combine everything

  2. Add the yoghurt and mix through, then finally add the dash of milk to get the right consistency.

  3. Add the berries on top (if using frozen they will defrost overnight and be nice and juicy!), pop the lid on and in the fridge it goes overnight - ready for an easy morning routine!
