Muesli Jars ~ Mum & Toddler
I love nothing more than having breakfast already prepared and ready upon waking, and one that I can eat with my daughter is even better!
Pretty simple muesli cup ~ I'm not inventing anything new but I think the combination is delicious (and so does my 4 year old!)
Save this to your bookmarks, it will soon become a nightly routine!
MUM'S MUESLI JAR INGREDIENTS:
- 1/3 cup quick oats
- 1/3 cup yoghurt (dairy or coconut - I've just made the switch to Chobani Light as its protein content is higher)
- 2.5 tablespoons Vanilla Protein Powder (I use Keep It Cleaner as it's the most basic that I'm happy for my daughter to eat a little of)
- 1 tsp chia seeds
- 2 tsp hemp seeds
- Dash of milk (so the consistency isn't too thick but not too runny).
- Fresh or frozen berries on top.
TODDLER MUESLI JAR INGREDIENTS:
- 1/4 cup quick oats
- 1/4 cup yoghurt (dairy or coconut)
- 1/2 - 1 tablespoon Vanilla Protein Powder (I use Keep It Cleaner as it's the most basic that I'm happy for my daughter to eat a little of)
- 1/2 tsp chia seeds
- 1 tsp hemp seeds
- Dash of milk (so the consistency isn't too thick but not too runny)
- Fresh or frozen berries on top.

INSTRUCTIONS
- Add all in the dry ingredients first and give a good mix to combine everything
- Add the yoghurt and mix through, then finally add the dash of milk to get the right consistency.
- Add the berries on top (if using frozen they will defrost overnight and be nice and juicy!), pop the lid on and in the fridge it goes overnight - ready for an easy morning routine!
